Interim Primary Headteacher

We are seeking an experienced and highly effective Interim Headteacher to lead a one-form entry primary school in Yorkshire for the Summer term, with the possibility of a longer-term arrangement.

This is a key leadership role at an important time for the school. We are looking for a confident, visible leader with outstanding communication skills and a strong track record in school improvement.

Key Experience Required

The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in:

  • Excellent communication with pupils, staff, parents, governors and external partners

  • Developing leadership capacity across the school

  • Strengthening governance and working effectively with governing bodies

  • Improving behaviour, culture and expectations

  • Providing clear, calm leadership and direction

There is flexibility for this role to be undertaken on either 4 or 5 days per week, making it suitable for experienced leaders with existing commitments.
