A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior leader to join the talented leadership team at Drayton Manor High School.

We are looking to appoint a transformational Deputy Head who will play a vital role in our school’s leadership as we embark on the next phase of our journey. We are proud of our robust academic and pastoral ethos and are looking to take the impact of our work to even higher levels so that what Drayton Manor offers the education system will become ever more distinctive.  To that end, we are looking for a Senior Leader to bring high levels of expertise in the areas of teaching and learning and curriculum.

The successful candidate will be expected to lead by example and challenge us to deliver the very best learning opportunities for our students. Drayton Manor is a heavily oversubscribed, diverse, vibrant and successful school with proud traditions and an excellent reputation. Our school motto of ‘Nec Aspera Terrent – hardships do not deter us,’ is at the heart of our ethos and we live this vision every day in our work with our students and everything that we do.

I have worked with Adam Stanley and Conexus for the past three years. As a result of this association I have undertaken several successful interim senior leadership roles in schools in a variety of circumstances. I have always received excellent support, which has included the provision of opportunities, advice on legal cover and insurances, regular contact to ensure that ‘all is going well’, and a willing ear, when necessary. I am very happy to be associated with Conexus and would recommend them highly, to both those seeking employment and to potential employers alike.
